Contemporary Calgary
February 2 - March 3

For the seventh consecutive year, the Exposure Photography Festival has brought the Flash Forward Incubator Program to Alberta, in partnership with the Toronto-based Magenta Foundation.

The Flash Forward Incubator Program is an extension of high school arts programming that prepares students for a successful transition out of high school and into post-secondary institutions and a careers in the arts. The program consists of four main activities that are completed online where youth are supported with ongoing mentorship from professional artists. Designed by certified educators, the program supports critical and creative thinking and develops the skills needed for students to show their work in the professional exhibition that you can view today.

The Flash Forward Incubator Program Exhibition features the work of students from the 2023/24 participating schools: Westmount Charter School in Calgary and Eastglen School in Edmonton.
